My name is Rana Faizi and I am very excited to serve as one of the Chairs in the UN Security Council as well as Deputy Secretary-General at this year’s conference. MUN has been a passion of mine for many years, and this conference will be my 11th experience and my second time as a chair. It has shaped the way I engage with topics that matter to me deeply and explore them from different perspectives. I am genuinely grateful for that.
Looking forward to this year’s conference, meeting you all, and the discussions ahead.
I’m Niklas Münstermann. I’m 16 years old and currently in the 11th grade at Primo-Levi-Gymnasium in Berlin-Weißensee. I’ve been participating in MUN for five years now, and I still look forward to every conference just as much as I did the first time. I really enjoy meeting new people, discussing politics, and gaining new perspectives. To me, MUN is very important because even if we can't change the world overnight, it sets the standard for shaping our future through dialogue and cooperation rather than force. I am really happy to be part of this year’s chairing team and Security Council and look forward to meeting you all very soon.
My name is David Beller and I am a 17-year-old 11th grader at Primo-Levi-Gymnasium in Berlin. Model United Nations has been a passion of mine for five years now. I am a huge fan of MUN since I love debating, meeting and talking to new people and because I believe that we, as young people, can shape the future through political engagement. Besides MUN, I dedicate much of my time to football as both a player and a coach.
I am honored to serve as one of this year’s Security Council Presidents and look forward to meeting you all in July.
