My name is Josephine and I will be co-chairing the GA6 of this year‘s jlgMUN. I am 16 years old and go to John-Lennon-Gymnasium. This will be my first time as a chair and my fifth conference overall so I‘m really looking forward to learning from my co-chairs and all the participants, after all there is no better teacher than practice. Aside from of course MUN I love to dance and listen to music. I love languages and discourse. That is where MUN is like heaven-sent. I think MUN is really important, especially in polarised times. MUN gives the option to train dialogue, consensus and actively engage. One of the great joys of being a chair (or at least I hope it is) is to see that process actively play out and delegates grow and I‘m really excited to experience that with all of you.
I am Roman. Like many of you, I enjoy reading news and books, writing, and art. What I adore about MUN is the intensity, the diplomacy, the entire grand dynamic. There’s nothing quite like standing with allies as you (democratically) nuke another country. To me, MUN is a combination of camaraderie, wits, and liveliness. As Chair at GA6, I aspire to bring diplomacy, energy, and life into our committee. I hope to make our shared room and time an incredible experience for all of us. I’m looking forward to making unforgettable, great memories
